    Get your teams together!  The 2015 softball season will be starting soon!  League registration runs through Friday, April 17th. Managers can pick up registration material at the Park and Recreation Office (1700 River Drive N.) Divisions include:  Men’s, Men’s Doubleheaders, Women’s and Coed. League play is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 27th.

    This summer Park and Recreation will be offering online registration for their summer programs, starting Monday, April 20!  The online system will allow households to register for camps, swim lessons, golf lessons, etc., online.  Information that will be required to register include names of family members, birthdates, address, phone number, and a valid email address.  Park and Recreation staff strongly suggests that you call 771-1265 prior to April 20, to set up your online account.

    The City’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. the south end of Gibson Park. It's always fun no matter the weather!  The Hunt will feature over 5,000 eggs filled with candy and special prizes. In addition, there will be special treats for all participants.  The Easter Egg Hunt age divisions include:  1-3, 4-6 and 7-9. The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance so don’t forget your basket!

    Anaconda Hills Golf Course and driving range will open for the season at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1.  The gates and pro shop open at 8:30 a.m. to schedule tee times.  Tee times can be made two days in advance by calling either pro shop; Anaconda Hills, 761-8459 or Eagle Falls, 761-1078 (9:30 a.m. through March 31, 8:30 a.m. beginning April 1).  The course will be open daily, weather permitting.  Use of carts will be determined based on current conditions and will be evaluated on a daily basis.

The calls will begin at 10 a.m. The message will be delivered through a voice recorded message, text, email and/or TDD. The message will direct recipients to the Cascade County or the City of Great Falls website to add additional contact information.

    Cascade County and the City of Great Falls are excited to announce the implementation of the CodeRED system. CodeRED is an emergency notification service that allows emergency officials to notify residents and businesses by telephone, cell phone, text message, email and social media regarding time-sensitive general and emergency notifications. Residents are encouraged to register in the CodeRED system in order to receive emergency notifications. Registration is easy and can be done by visiting www.greatfallsmt.net or www.cascadecountymt.gov.
